Investing is a wonderful, thoughtful, adventure of capitalism. We have been immensely rewarded by our endeavours in the market. We strongly believe that beyond a point accumulated wealth should find meaningful expression in terms of giving back to the Society through charitable giving. For the purpose we run PV Foundation - investing in the society we live in is also a responsible and sensible form of Value investing.

We are as motivated and passionate about “charitable distribution of wealth” along with “generating wealth” through our capitalistic endeavours.

Holistic Education and Character building of Children and Youth

Supporting Health Infrastructure for our fellow citizens

PVF Library, Potta

To promote reading among the students and youth in the village of Potta (Mr. Porinju's hometown) the PVF has started a library with initial collection of few thousand books on diverse range of subjects from economics to entertainment. A first in the village, and open to all through free membership, the PVF library in its initial years has received an overwhelming response from the community. The foundation is in the process of expanding the library and it would be moved to the new premises of the under construction PVF building once the construction is complete.

PVF Summer Football Camp

To promote the quality of Football coaching and its infrastructure, the PVF has been conducting a 2-month long camp at Panampilly College Ground in Chalakkudy every year under the tutelage of veteran professional footballers. The camp has been a runaway success and has seen an immense response from the youth in an around the Chalakkudy Municipal area. Every year hundreds of aspiring footballers attend the camp, the best of whom are given all the necessary support to take their game to the next level. PVF aspires to nurture and bud at least a handful of professional state/national level footballers in the current decade.

Vaccination Drive

During the pandemic the PVF supplied much needed medical equipment to the Chalakkudy General hospital and other community health centres in and around Chalakkudy and Ernakulam areas facilitating storage and dissemination of Covid vaccines. The foundation also supplied medicines and testing kits to many hospitals. The PVF also conducted several covid vaccination camps there by ensuring availability of vaccines and increasing the awareness about vaccination in the community.
